Job Description
Job Summary:
Organizes and coordinates quality, risk and patient safety program activities and workflow.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates quality, risk and/or patient safety aspects of The Joint Commission continuous readiness program.
Collaborates with multidisciplinary team on problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services and systems/ performance measures.
Supports activities related to quality and risk reduction initiatives and compliance with patient safety standards.
Analyzes and reports on data collected from a variety of sources. Develops detailed quality financial reports for specific groups and service lines.
Accurately reviews medical records to support data collection for regulatory and registry measures, medical staff peer review, OPPE and FPPE using Common cause Analysis (CCA) taxonomy.
Outcomes database management including, when applicable, data entry, report generation and interpretation.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Level Degree
Bachelor of Science degree required Bachelor of Nursing or Health Information Management preferred Master of Science preferred
Work Experience:
Minimum of three years experience in a healthcare setting required. Experience in patient care preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
