Manufacturing Associate Level B

Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Make setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications. Additional responsibilities include work from wire tables, prints, schematics, diagrams, written procedures, and verbal instructions, to determine proper wire size, color, length, and lugs. Cut, strip, lug, route, form, and install wires, cables, and harnesses. Install any gauge wire required to complete the job. Layout, drill, and tap holes using dimensions of less than +/- 1/8 inch as a guideline. Typically pre-taped or pre-drilled panels.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
