General Summary: Reporting to the Director of Operations and a key member of the management team, the Manager of Manufacturing Engineering & Facilities is responsible day-to-day supervision of Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Facilities and Maintenance departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Align engineering and maintenance resources for manufacturing cell design, including
tooling and total productive maintenance (TPM) programs.
Establish key department metrics to ensure machine availability, measure overall
equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Drive LEAN activities and lead Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Recommend new equipment purchases to meet manufacturing needs and ensure proper
capability to meet on time delivery requirements.
Ensure work instructions are written for all assembly and machining cells. Coordinate
training with operations and machine operators for all new cells.
Write and support all capital expenditures for facilities maintenance and upgrades.
Manage a staff of 8-10 engineers and 6 maintenance personnel.
Key Skills
1. Candidate must possess a strong background in machining (CNC) capabilities.
a. CNC Programming ? Editing, Fanuc and Mazak Controls
b. Program retrieval to insure latest CNC programs are always on server file
2. Ability to perform machine capability studies
3. Ability to interpret CMM data and make appropriate machine offsets
4. Provide leadership to three functions (manufacturing engineering, electrical engineering
and maintenance), create project timelines and drive results.
5. Experience in leading cross-functional teams that that manage resources, develop project
timelines, identifying and removing roadblocks and implementation of ideas.
6. Must be organized, comfortable leading others, and able to drive process improvement.
7. General knowledge of basic software programs such as MS Office and ERP database
8. Experience in the implementation of an electronic TPM program for CNC equipment,
assembly processes and facility.
9. Experience with a Lean Business System such as; The Danaher Business System or The
Toyota Production System is a real plus.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of management experience in engineering. A Bachelor?s degree required, an MBA preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
