General Summary: Reporting to the Vice President & GM of Hayes Bicycle Group (HBG) and a key member of the senior leadership team, the Director of Sales is responsible for helping to establish strategic initiatives and execute tactical actions to successfully deliver sales targets that meet the company?s growth objectives. The Director of Sales will be responsible for managing day-to-day sales activity, customer interaction and supporting marketing activities that successfully deliver and preferably exceed customer expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
LEADERSHIP AND STRATEGY
Represent sales within the bicycle group leadership team
Understand total and available market share and incorporate data into a strategic market
penetration plan to drive revenue growth based upon the company goals.
Leverage the company?s annual strategic plan (which includes sales, operations and
product management plans) for sales growth.
Protect company?s sales from competitors while ensuring profit improvement and
resistance to gross margin shrinkage.
Deliver annual budgeted revenue and margin contributions
SALES MANAGMENT
Responsible for managing the global sales team and developing metrics to measure their
success. Offer direction, define priorities and set clear expectations for staff; Use
coaching skills effectively to improve staff performance.
Establish annual sales forecast, budget and growth opportunities to support the
company?s production and financial planning.
Budget and manage departmental expense and headcount details.
Aid in account management, order management, delivery, communication and pricing as
needed. Continue to develop OEM accounts and the necessary distribution and
aftermarket channels.
Define and implement sales process, infrastructure and systems to support the success of
the sales function.
Manage CRM process, database and input with commercial team.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of ten (10) years of sales experience servicing multiple market segments, channels and geographic regions.
Knowledge of the Bicycle Markets is a plus. A minimum of five (5) years of direct sales management experience with a demonstrated record of driving growth is desired. Bachelor?s degree required, an MBA preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
